Probst Wins Medalist Honors at Roosevelt, Advances to State Am at Home Course
Bill Probst, a veteran of many Utah State Ams, will be playing in another one. He shot 73 and won medalist honors at the Roosevelt Qualifying Tuesday and now advances to the finals in July at Soldier Hollow, one of his home courses. He is also a member at Wasatch Mountain.
The cut broke even at 77 and a total of ten players advanced to Soldier Hollow.
There were two players at 78 who played off for the alternating spots. Janzen Davis won the first alternate spot and Leland Chapoose became the second alternate.
