Strong Winds Make For Tough Day At Glenmoor Qualifier
Swirling winds made for difficult conditions as Ryan Powers E (72) earned low medalist honors at the Utah State Amateur Qualifier at Glenmoor Golf Course.
The cut came at +7 (79) with 24 players qualifying for the State Amateur in July. There was a playoff with 7 players playing for 5 spots and 2 alternates. 4 players shot par, 1 player had a bogey and two players had double bogeys to move on and play for the alternate spots. Glenmoor was the home course for 4 of those players. This qualifier also saw 4 members of the Youth On Course program punch their ticket to the State Am.
