State Amateur Qualifier #1 – The Ridge

Today’s qualifying tournament for the 127th Utah State Amateur Championship was held at The Ridge Golf Club, where cold temperatures and steady winds created a tough test for the field. Despite the challenging conditions, players showcased impressive skill and mental resilience throughout the day.
Leading the way was Will Blanchard, who turned in a stellar performance with a score of 69, finishing at 3-under par. Will credited his success to his sharp iron and wedge play, which consistently left him in scoring position. His six birdies highlighted both his precision and poise under pressure.
Will’s performance earned him a spot in the Utah State Amateur Championship, joining ten other players who qualified from today’s event. The championship will take place July 7–12 at Logan Country Club and Eagle Mountain Golf Course.
