State Amateur Qualifier #2 – Fox Hollow

Today’s second qualifying tournament for the 127th Utah State Amateur Championship was held at Fox Hollow Golf Club. Jackson Mauss performed incredibly with a score of -8 (64) to finish as medalist. Starting on the 10th tee, Jackson made the turn at 2-under par and then caught fire, recording birdies on 7 out of 9 holes on the front 9. Performing well in their own right, Bowen Mauss and Stu Gold fell just below him with scores of -6 (66).
Jackson’s phenomenal playing earned him a spot in the Utah State Amateur Championship, joining 11 other players who qualified from today’s event .The championship will take place July 7-12 at Logan Country Club and Eagle Mountain Golf Course.
We are excited to see Jackson and the rest of the qualifiers compete in one of Utah’s most prestigious amateur golf events.
