U.S. Amateur Local Qualifier at Ogden Golf and Country Club

As the second-oldest golf club in Utah, Ogden Golf and Country Club proved a true test of the best players during the first stage of U.S. Amateur qualifying. 80 eager players competed, but only 8 punched their tickets. The cut came at +1 (71).
Walking away with medalist honors, Bobby Kincaid IV finished at -2 (68). Finishing at -1 (69) were Luke Crapo, Will Pizza, John Fox, and Carter Frisby. Divid Liechty ended the day at at E (70) with Peyton Hastings and Jackson Mauss competing in a playoff for the last two spots after coming in at +1 (71).
Players will move on to an 18-hole final qualifier at The Country Club on July 28 to earn a spot at the U.S. Amateur, held this August at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.
