Arizona Captures Shootout Trophy at Home
Fresh off his victory in the Utah Four-Ball Championship, Peyton Hastings was the UGA’s top performer in the annual Arizona vs. Utah Shootout, contested at Sterling Grove Golf & Country Club in Surprise, Arizona.
As the UGA’s top performer Peyton Hastings posted a total of 7.5 points in three matches for Team UGA.
Arizona took a 60.5-35.5 victory that included margins of 14-10 in Foursomes, 16-8 in Four-Ball and 30.5.-17.5 in the 16 singles matches, worth 3 points each.

Hastings posted 7.5 points. He swept his Singles match after collecting 3 points (with Noah Schone) in a Foursomes match and 1.5 points (with Stockton Penman) in Four-Ball competition.
Steven Croft posted 6 points for Utah, with the help of Cameron Crawford and Daniel Griffiths, and senior partners Mark Gardiner (6) and Randy Hicken (5) also grabbed more than half of their available points. Zach Dallimore swept his Singles match.
Two UGA champions were big winners for Arizona. Marci DuBois (8.5) and Robin Krapfl (7) teamed up for a share of the 2025 Women’s Spring Open title, after Krapfl won the 2024 Utah Senior Women’s State Amateur.
