Utah State Amateur Qualifier #9 – Talons Cove

A sunny and windy afternoon greeted players at Talons Cove Golf Club for today’s Utah State Amateur Qualifier, where a competitive field looked to secure 11 spots in the 127th Utah State Amateur Championship.
David Liechty led the way with a 5-under 67, handling the conditions well and finishing as the day’s medalist. His round was especially impressive given the steady winds throughout the day.
10 others joined Liechty in qualifying for the 127th Utah State Amateur Championship, which will be held July 7–12 at Logan Country Club and Eagle Mountain Golf Course.
Congratulations to David and all of today’s qualifiers. We look forward to seeing them compete later this summer.
