Utah State Amateur Qualifier #10 – Wasatch Mountain

A cool, peaceful morning welcomed players to Wasatch Mountain Golf Club for yesterday’s Utah State Amateur Qualifier. Framed by mountains, 69 eager players competed to secure 12 spots in the 127th Utah State Amateur Championship.
Brett Christiansen’s eagle on hole 14 was one of only three made the entire day. Cameron Crawford’s steady playing led him to a successful finish, and Austin Geddings’ impressive 6-under front nine was the low 9 hole score for the day. All 3 tied for medalist honors with 4-under 68.
9 others joined the trio in qualifying for the 127th Utah State Amateur Championship, which will be held July 7–12 at Logan Country Club and Eagle Mountain Golf Course.
Congratulations to Christiansen, Crawford, and Geddings as well all of today’s qualifiers. We look forward to seeing them compete next month.
