Hayden Harris – 3A Medalist

With a pair of 77’s, Richfield High School senior Hayden Harris topped the individual leaderboard at the 3A High School State Championship at Round Valley Golf Course on May 7-8th to claim Medalist honors.
“It is really surreal,” Hayden explained. “I still don’t think I can believe it actually happened. It was great to see my efforts finally paying off.”
With plans to play for Southern Utah University, Hayden will be playing “lots of tournaments” this summer to prep for the collegiate golf world.
Hayden led her Richfield Girls Golf team, under the direction of Cove View Head Professional Todd Mullen, to a team-total 632 for the state title. The top three on the individual race belonged to Richfield and five of the top six also belonged to Richfield.
